How to keep your skin safe & prevent from sunburn

In summer seasons few tips can keep our skin safe, healthy and glowing. Lets see what effects are skin first.

Sunburn:

In summer direct exposure to sun will cause inflammation over the skin causing a sunburn, ultraviolet radiation from sunlight puts a hard and burn sensation over the body if directly exposed for longer hours.

Sunburn causes premature skin aging and high exposure leads to damaging of skin cells and skin cancer.

Symptoms:

  • Inflammation over the skin
  • Painful when touches the skin
  • Dull color over the effected skin area
  • Blisters & chills
  • Sometimes high temperature and fever

Types of sun burn:

  • first degree burn
  • second degree burn
  • third degree burn

1.First degree burn:

In first degree skin is damaged of the outer most layer. This heels in few days or few weeks with mild care and applying some good moistures.

  1. Second degree burn:

In second degree, middle section of the skin is damaged. Blister normally appeared on the skin.

This is also heeling normally in few days with mild care with some medical treatment.

3.Third degree burn:

In third degree all layers of skin are normally damaged, it effects nerves as well fat layer beneath the skin.  Normally third-degree burn occurs in any accidents or by exposure of some highly dangerous chemicals or fire.

From sun 3rd degree burn is not occurred as nature as given enough strength in our skin.

In 3rd degree burn emergency medical treatment should be required and concern should immediately report to specialized burn centers of the hospitals to seek urgent medical support and treatment.

  • Try to keep your skin clean and wash frequently with clean water.
  • In summer season try to apply cool compression.
  • Moisturize with aloe Vera Gel .
  • Drink plenty of water after few intervals.
  • If you are travelling try to take a break and wash your directly exposed parts with cool water.
  • Sun blockers can also be applied if you feel you need to stay in direct exposure for more time.
  • Sun glasses are highly recommended in summer to keep your skin protected around your eyes.
  • Light juices intake also keeps skin fresh and glowing.
